David is a co-founder of MEP and a widely respected retailer with a successful career in UK retail. Prior to joining MEP, David was the CEO of Halfords Group plc, the leading auto parts retailer in the UK. At Halfords, David is credited with an 80% increase in the company’s operating profits in the two years prior to its June 2004 LSE flotation

Prior to Halfords, David served on the board of Dixons Group plc for five years. During his 17 year tenure with Dixons, he spearheaded the company’s expansion into Europe and ran a number of the Group’s divisions including PC World. David spent his early career with Alfred Dunhill, Imperial Foods and Sony.

David is currently Chairman of Nationwide Auto in the UK and on the Board of directors of MVideo, one of Russia’s leading electrical retailers.
